Scott, your trip sounds like fun. When I was going to Deuville from Paris
last June I passed some signs ffor Le Mans and my mind drifted briefly to
Ford GT40s, 250LMs, and hot castrol. I was thinking that I sould live a
24 hours at Le Mans before I die.

Anyway, you need to schedule an evening or two to wonder the old parts
of Paris at night. I only had one evening there without my camera, but decided
that this was a city made for night photography. I hope to go back in '94
and spend several mights making images. Do not drive in Paris if you value
your sanity. Leave Paris to the taxi drivers.

having been molded by the late sixties, I HAD to hang outin Picidilly Circus,
go down to Victoria station and take a train; visit Manchester (England
England. Accross the Atlantic sea.....)and Liverpool. Liverpool is a nice city
and the Maritine meuseam there is worth stopping at. There is a Forte Hotel
right next to train station that is affordable.

If you find yourself in London on a Sunday, the Camden Locks is THE place to
be. Imagine if you will, a giant street faire with row upon row of booths
and tables lining the sidewalks, vacent lots and any nook and cranny. It is a
combination crafts faire, wholesale outlet, food fest, antique faire, and
flea market that looks like it could have been time warped from 1971.

I wish you luck on your trip, and who knows, we might bump into each other
at Le Mans or on a side street in Paris.
