Just about every Lucas "failure" I have had (or seen for that matter) had to do with corrosion on terminals. The rest were due to ill conceived user hacks to "fix" corrosion problems. Most of my experience is with older, simpler components though, so I can't comment on turn-signal/horn/wiper/dimmer combination switches falling apart! Mike mburdick@unmc.edu |
