No. After extensive exchanges of email with Lee Daniels and T.J. Higgins,
I can say unequivocably that the British flag on the SOL regalia is NOT
upside down.

It's backwards. :-\

(As it was explained to be by the noble Mr. Higgins (I think), it's as if you
were viewing the flag from the back side. To help all of you US SOLers to
understand the horrible magnitude of this international faux pas, imagine
viewing the Stars-n-Stripes from the back with the stars in the upper right
corner, instead of the usual position in the upper left.)

They were, er, done that way, um, ... on purpose! Ya, that's it! It's, um,
because, um, that's the way the British flag looks to us over here on this
side of the Atlantic! ... Okay, the real reason is I screwed up!

To all of those true Brits on this list, my humblest appologies! You may
remember that the first GIF of the logo placed on hoosier was `backwards,'
which Ed Devinney quickly remedied with a 'sol-logo-fixed.gif.' I had assumed
that I had the correct image when it came time to place the orders. Sigh.

So, I resign my post as "Official Keeper of the SOL Regalia." Somebody else
can do it instead. (Just kidding. I'll fix the image some day and get it to
Image Graphics so that any future orders will be correct (I think. :-\ ).
If anyone is planning on ordering anything else, let me know first.)
