I got some good news yesterday, I'm now funded until
May. If I stay on schedule (yea right!) that leaves only six
months unfunded before I finish my Ph.D.. So, after a week of
stomach turning upset, I can relax a bit. More importantly, I
can keep my stuff! You know, I find that I'm embarrassed at
how attached I've become to my cars. It was only a few
weeks ago when I about died laughing at some woman interviewed
on CNN. She wasn't going to leave her home before the
hurricane. When asked why she said, "I don't want to leave all
my things."
The 'Healey Werks' has finished my BJ8 frame (they
were straightening a frame rail). They say I'm going to be
pretty impressed when I see the finished product. Lets hope so.
Anyway, I'll be Chicago (to pick the frame up) sometime in the
next two weeks. If anyone would like to get together for an
evening meal, send me mail.
