The HRG crossflow head is being remanufactured by B&G. The cost is around
950 pounds sterling. With an dollar costing 56 pence, the head would cost
around $1600 pluss shippingt..
I would not eagerly pay more for a head than I paid for a car in the
first place.
I understand, though, an MGA sporting an repro HRG crossflow head w/ twin
DCOE 45 Webers blew away a few teutonic speedsters recently at Road Atlanta.
B&G also are making close ratio gears for the 3-syncro MGA/MGB 4-speeds. They
also are making works type OD switches. The type that went on the
shifter in place of the knob.
Hurray for ancient technology. May it never pass away!
