*** I'm the one who asked the car wax question. Yesterday, I
happened by the ``auto parts club'', a local car-stuff
discounter. They had the ``California Gold'' past wax, which
BTW is made by ``Mothers''. After agonizing a bit (Gee, I'm
gonna wear out my arms buffing this stuff in, this is the
labor-intensive stuff that they warned us about in all the
miracle silicone goop commercials, right? ), I plonked down
the $10.
I waxed about half the MGA last night. It wasn't hard at all.
The wax went on smoothly, buffed out easily. No big deal.
One little detail they got really right was the smell. Smell?
Yeah, _smell_. They put incense or something in it. Smelled
just like those artsy-craftsy fancy candle stores. Made it
really pleasant to work with.
