A good friend and expert Triumph person told me of a recent Triumph Trivia quiz in which he was stumped by the following question: Sir John Black, then head of Triumph Cars, was injured in an auto accident in the Fall of 1953, shortly before he resigned his post in the company. What car was he in at the time and who was the driver? My friend is seriously interested in the answer. I check my small collection (5 or 6 books) on Triumphs and could not help. Anybody know the answer? |
