Peter, I'm afraid I missed what kind of car you're having this problem with. In any event, probably the single best means of removing the bearing race is to apply heat... lots and lots of it. If you have an acetylene torch, heat up the race until it's bright red and then begin pounding (it'll probably take just a light tap). If you don't have an acetylene setup, you can probably get suitable results with one of those little propane torches. -Steve- |
