I never noticed a heat shield. What's it look like? (My shop manual

Odd thing. I got pissed off at it and decided to drive it to work
today _anyway_. I tried to upshift into 5th a few times on the back
roads, but it wouldn't do it. When I hit the interstate, however, it
went in like magic. (Maybe because I shifted without thinking about
it?) Not wanting to push my luck, I never downshifted again until I
got off the interstate....
