Get a new rebuild kit, and redo it. The seals _WILL FAIL_. DOT 3 fluid eats the natural rubber parts away. Why are we still using "natual rubber" seals then? Is there some reason that a rebuild kit couldn't contain DOT3/4 compatable seals? Another thing, If i wanted to test this effect, can I drop a rubber part in a cup of DOT3 fluid and watch it dissolve? Would I have to wait weeks to see anything? |
