Scott wanted to know about the Jag-U-ar XJ-S, well....
A friend of mine bought a 12(?) year old V12 and I remember seeing the
engine for the first time. He opened the bonnet and started it - it turned
over, caught and just sat there purring. The engine hardly moved. Then he
revved it the purr rose to a growl and the engine tilted on its mounts -
wonderful.
Go for it Scott.....
On a different note, the deposit for the Caterham Seven is now paid and
bits should start to turn up in mid September.....Yeaah ;> I hunted out
my grandfathers 1st world war flying helmet - it fits...it has the
wonderful pneumatic headphones and speaking tubes so communication
with the passenger at 70mph may be possible after all.
Scott - have you still got that article you sent to Michael Sands, I would
like to see it !
Cheers,
