I once went for a week's beach run with my sweetie to Ocean Beach, Md.
in the Midget. Somehow, we crammed everything in the trunk and didn't
even use the luggage rack or pack anything behind the seats. This was
a miracle, because my sweetie is a Bag Lady.
How did we do it? I carried no spare (never had one, never run borderline
rubber, never had a flat) or spares (I was young and foolhardy, and so was
my MG). We didn't break down, and the week was a blast. Being madly in
love was probably what made the difference; LBC's understand and respond
well to exuberence.
Enough anthropomorphism...back to swork!
