The usual ed-iquette is to get permission from the author, and give
full by-line credits, just like any copyrited material, even if it's not
(that's still not a clear legal issue on the net..). That way, you're
covered either way.
I also usually request a copy of the newsletter be sent to me, if
someone is printing something I wrote.
