Well, my 68 B has the same problem, and has since I rebuilt the engin
a couple of years ago. Last spring, I replaced the gaskets, using an
Approved Sealing Method- very clean surfaces, moderate Permatex, torqued
to spec.... and they both still leak! They used to leak around the
bolt heads, but last iteration I made little gaskets for the bolt heads,
and that has stopped that particluar method of oil egress.
So, let me know what you get to work.
