Earlier this week, one of my co-workers who gets the B-C digest asked if I had
decided to run the B-C car survey per a request she had seen in the digest. I
indicated that the request was news to me and when I asked her to send me a copy
of the e-mail, she had already deleted it. I still haven't seen the mail she
was refering to on the regular B-C mailing list, so either I didn't get it or I
deleted it without reading it. Based on what she relayed to me, I'll try to
respond to what I think was asked.
I enjoyed running the survey the first two years, but I didn't run it this year
as the thing aquired a life of its own before I could get my act together. This
year Cory Carpenter ran it. For the last three years, it has been run only
once a year, in the May-June time frame, in an effort to keep traffic down on
the list. Invariably, when the call goes out for info , some people respond via
the list instead of direct e-mail. The results are archived and available via
FTP. It is a fair amount of workto run the thing, so unless there is sufficient
demand, I expect it will be next May or June before either Cory or myself will
be asking about what people have.
I hope this helps.
