Folks-
On Thu, 12 Nov 92,
John D. Barlow <John.D.Barlow@arp.anu.edu.au> asks about
"MG midget gearbox and parts question" and (paraphrasing) wants to know if
an MG Midget 1275 gearbox can be had for less than $1,600 Australian.
He also says originality isn't an issue.
Well, I don't have a spare rib-case 1275 Spridget gearbox, and I don't know
the US/AUS exchange rate (so why am I responding?) ... BUT ...
(1) That's big money for a little gearbox!
(2) Frontline Developments in the UK (Tel 0225 481 069) market a conversion
kit so you can fit a modern Toyota 5-speed, or so it says in the November
'92 issue of Practical Classics and Car Restorer magazine.
