RE: andy green's comment on the interchangeable body panels on Rover 2000s
I have read old car magazine ads and Rover made a point of advertising this
feature. the ads also explained how easy it was to change the body panels
(reassembly is the opposite of above)
I recall the ad showing a rover with several different color panels mounted,
though my recollection could be faulty.
of course it would facilitate rust repair and maybe you would want a set of
beater body panels for the winter and those pristine ones for the summer.
