I just found out what it'll cost to ship my Peerless door from England-
OUCH! Get this- It's cheaper by air than by sea, by almost half!
The box will be something like 3'x4'x 2 or 3-ish, and shipping will cost more
than the parts. I may buy doors for both sides, just cuz it will cost
about the same to ship both!
Creative ideas anyone??
-Anybody here in the military, and willing to help? I hear
military personal get some *real good* shipping rates between
bases. The box could be delivered to Surrey, and shipped
to somewhere here...
-Is anyone taking a trip to England, that could bring back
some extra "Luggage"?
-I think I could fly over and back for just a bit more than
the cost of shipping. :-o
