As I have mentioned many times on the Bitish-cars list ( I expect to be stoned 
the next time I mention it there) this is based on the V4 used in SAAB 96
sedans, 95 wagons and 97 Sonetts.

They are a popular drop into a Sonett
for ice racing, but I don7t know that 
I would recommend an engine this strongon dry pavement, as the SAAB ring 
& pinion might expire.
