I was in an industrial supply place yesterday and I saw a can of 'Cold galvanizing spray' from Rustolium. The can claims to be 90% (If my menory is serves me) zinc. It drys to a shade of primer gray. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or what you think about it. Would it be possible to paint over this stuff with other paint? They gave me a can to experiment with so I could a few tests with it. If I stripped my frame and painted it with this stuff, would that be as good as a factory galvanizing dip? woodruff@caen.engin.umich.edu |
