The South West Ohio Chapter of the MG Car Club held their elections
last week. Since I'm new to the club and wasn't really paying attention,
I ended up getting elected to be Secretary for the next year. The ironic
thing about it was I had been thinking of dropping out because our club
doesn't seem to much except for hold monthly meetings. Since I joined
in May the only club events have been co-sponsering (with the local
Triumph club) the Dayton British Car Day and yesterday we had the
annual picnic. Since I am now on the board, I would like to see us have
more car related activities.
I'd like to get ideas from you folks for events that your club has that
maybe we could try. The club has about 70 members, but only about
20-25 appear to be active. Maybe if we did more that would change.
