One additional comment about the outer axles in the independently sprung TR cars. If the suspension is allowed to repeatedly bottom, due to excessive loads, worn or too short springs or improper orientation of the trailing arm brackets, the end of the axle takes much greater loads than it can handle, and WILL break off. mjb. |
