To support the block when you change motor mounts, just use a small
floor jack. I have an inexpensive one that only cost me about $40
several years ago. I've seen a very similar one on sale at various
times from Sears for about the same price. I always place a piece
of wood between the face of the jack and the oil pan to better
distribute the load on the pan itself and to avoid denting the oil
pan. If you don't already have a small floor jack, you'll never
regret the purchase once you have one.
In as much as you'd need to raise the entire car first (eg. drive it
up on car ramps or jack it up, you can also use a hydraulic "bottle
jack." With a bottle jack under the oil pan, you MUST distribute
the weight better with a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan.
As with any hydraulic jacking situation, ALWAYS protect yourself
in case of a hydraulic failure by making sure the car itself is
properly supported by jack stands, etc.
