I have been using Prestone exclusively in all my cars (1 has iron block and
alloy head, ther other has an all alloy engine). I have never experienced
any problems. When I change the anti-freeze, I have never noticed anything
strange with the colour/smell/residues.
So I am assuming that Presone is safe for any engine.
I think with the number of alloy engines around these days (compared to say
10 years ago), if there are any "corrosion" relates probelems, we would have
heard by now
