Presumably (I don't know this car offhand) it has leaf springs at the rear,
so two ways to lower them. Either buy some lowering blocks or fit single
leaf springs (probably can't get these though for this car.) For the front
which will be coil springs you can (a) fit a set of clamps to them, (b) cut
one coil, or (c) visit someone like Leda who will make you some. The largest
tyre you could probably fit is a 185/70 (and remember that your speedo will
now reflect a different speed). Ideally, with a car such as this wouldn't
it be nicer to bring it to concours condition (and easier). If you need more
help try Custom Car or Hot Rod/Car, they tend to get a lot of letters like
this.
