Not me, unfortunately, but William Clay Ford (yes, THAT Ford). Here's a
little extract from today's Chicago Sun-Times on Ford, who was in town
to open a display on recycling car parts:
<begin_quote>
William Clay Ford also has an interest in classic cars and he's looking to
buy a 1960s Jaguar XJS roadster or a 1960s Aston Martin DB4 or DB5, which is
the Aston model used in the 1960s James Bond movies. Ford owns Aston Martin
and Jaguar.
Ford, who most often drives a Ford Taurus SHO, which has a race-style Yamaha
V-6, and a Ford Thunderbird, said, "Jaguar is losing money now, but we've
improved the quality of its cars and bought it as a long-term proposition.
It was a good buy, has a loyal owner body and we won't tamper with the unique
personality of its cars."
