TR250 wheels and tires
Well it seems with all the sales going on, its a good time to purchase
wheels. I just purchased the Pannasport 15x6 alloy wheels from TRF. I
received my first one today and they are beautiful! The centers use the
8 spoke pattern mimicking the original American Racing wheels that were
an option on the car. Now its time to by tires and to have them mounted.
Can any one recommend a good tire store in the South Bay area where I can
take the wheels and tires (I plan to buy my tires mailorder) and have
them mounted without fearing damage to the wheels or weights flying off
as I'm driving away from the store? Also I'm not sure which tire size
to purchase. I'd like to preserve the tall tire look. So far I'm
considering 195x15/75 or 205x15/70. Any suggestions on handling, tire
rub, or aesthetics?
