OK, so in the purest jest I put the license plate JPNZ MGB on my
Miata, since they're so close in size and purpose, and dare I say character
(an Elan it ain't!). And for 57500 miles all was ducky.

And now my bloody LJC decides it's not nearly British enough, and has
decided to ...

        ...leak oil.

Well, it's only a teensy drip (enough to mark the driveway overnight),
and I knwo why it's happenning (I was too cheap to replace the drain-plug
washer and am using RedLine, which has a rep for escaping seals whenever
it has the smallet chance). But there's a lesson to be learned here -
not only is the role of magic underestimated in computer science, it's
also a force to be reckoned with when invoking the Spirit of Lucas
in any form.

God, I hope the electrics don't start taking this cue...

PS - now that the the t-shirt furor has died down, what's the story?
Pat Volbrandt - could you mail me? My mail keeps getting
        rejected...
