I wouldn't count on this too heavily. Before painting the outsides of
my brake MC reservoirs, I soaked a clevis pin I had painted with DP40 and
Imron in LMA. After about 3 days the paint pealed off right down to the
metal. I still used this combination on my reservoirs, though.
