|Subj: Cam regrinds for 1500 midget

Last Friday, I took my cam into the machine shop I've been dealing
with. The owner suggested that I get a new cam if possible, since a
good regring would cost over $100 anyway. I have to check with a
salesman at TRF doing some research for me on the availability. I
called on Friday and he said he would know by tonight. TRF's price was
around $180, so with the 10% discount on new lifters and the cam, I
could live with that for a brand new cam.
If I can't get a new cam, what's the general feeling on getting a cam
reground? Anyone ever had a spitfidget 1500 cam reground for more lift
etc?
Please help, I'd like to get this thing back together before the
summers over.
