Had a brief bit of fun on Sat. Brief because the afternoon rain storms are
now a daily occurance here in the desert. Fun because I had a first-time-
in-months test drive in the MGB. After the new engine was broken in, the car
immediately went back up on blocks for some improvements. For example:
total clutch/brake system overhaul with all new plumbing and fittings,
dismantle and reinstall front suspension with the Moss coil-over kit,
new steering rack, new bushings, radiator boiled out and painted, new
alternator. Finishing up with new 5.5" wires with Goodyear GT+4's on Saturday
morning. All told - quite a noticable difference!
Actually, the suspension/rolling stock were the first aspects restored when
I first started on the car several years (but few miles) ago so I've started
on another trip through the cycle. My second-string 68 MGB will be much
happier when I shift those parts over to it.

BTW: I'm increasingly convinced: there ain't such a thing as 'true' wire wheels
- if they didn't look so great.......
