On polo shirts: they don't have to be embroidered; I, too, have some
that are printed.
On decals: I have finally tracked down a place that can do
"Staticals" -- plastic decals that attach by a static pressure,
NOT adhesive. A lot of the sunshades that you see atop windshields,
proclaiming the car brand, are this stuff. OF course, the cost
varies by quantity, number of colors, and size. Assuming 16 square
inches (a bit bigger than a 3x5 card), and a white background (we
could also get them transparent), this place would charge:
quantity one color two colors three colors
-----------------------------------------------------------
50 $199 ($4 each) $273 ($5.46) $347 ($6.94)
125 $231 ($1.94) $313.50 ($2.51) $396 ($3.17)
250 $260 ($1.04) $350 ($1.40) $440 ($1.76)
Does anyone agree that these would be the best thing to put on the
car, being nondestructive to paint and chrome? If so, how many
do you suppose we would be able to order, and how many colors
are required?
