USENET/Mailing List Rule #1:
All discussions are cyclic, including the discussion
of the cyclic nature of discussions.

rg> SOL identificators. Pros & Cons:

rg> Grill Badge - Look good, very British car in nature. Easily visible on
rg> your car at a show. Good for use on car only. (and may be hard
rg> to swap between cars)

And a little pricey. I'd be up for one, nonetheless. Most
British, and quite "period" for the car.

rg> Decal - Similar comments to Grill badge. Fairly cheap. Can be tough for
rg> those with little or no window glass.

Agreed. I count this one a loss.

rg> Sticker- Somewhat universal. Similar to decal, but can be put many more
places.
rg> Can be attached to Vinyl Cling or Magnetic for temporary application.
rg> Can also be Attached to computers, books, houses, people, etc.
rg> Buy several, put them on different things.

I'd be up for a half dozen of these. Good for lots of things.

rg> T-shirt- Large. Easily Identifes SOL person, as opposed to car, even if you
rg> are somewhere else, or don't have your car. Moderate cost.
rg> [but you may have too many T-shirts to wear at the same event, or
rg> it may be too cold or...]

I'd prefer a polo shirt. Too many T-Shirts already. Plus,
less likely to end up with grease stains on it... Maybe.

rg> Iron-on- Cheaper version of T-shirt, make your own, or make a flag/banner.

Never seen one that I'd be proud to display.

rg> Patch-- Fairly cheap and very universal. Sew-on, or maybe Iron-on. Can be
put
rg> on hat, T-shirt, Polo shirt, jacket, drivers suit, flag, small
rg> banner, etc. Can identify SOL person. Can also be put on car (flag,
rg> or on dash, etc.) Buy several...

I'd spring for a few good quality patches before I'd buy
another T. I'm more likely to wear a polo than a T, and a hat
as well. Unless you get T's with pockets, in which case I do
wear those occasionally. Not particularly car-friendly unless
you put it on a pennant on the aerial or something.

rg> Did I miss any?

Earrings, Key Fobs, Bheer Mugs, Tie bars/tacks, Wind Breakers,
and those neat watches you always see advertised in in-flight
magazines :-).
