OK, this isn't exactly british-cars, but since we could all
be driving one when nailed by PHOTO-RADAR, I thought I'd take
this little liberty with our theme.
Anyway, yesterday USA Today had an "editorial debate" in which the
newspaper endorsed the use of photo-radar. I sent them a "letter
to the editor" in opposition (I faxed it actually) and it has made
publication in today's edition.
For those that aren't familiar with it, photo-radar takes a picture
of the car & driver when a radar unit triggers above a preset
speed threshold. After the film is developed, a ticket is sent
for speeding to the registered owner of the vehicle.
Obligatory brit-cars item....At least the TR-8 we own is in Linda's
name, not mine :-)
