OK, someone tell me I am doing this right (or not)-- The car is pinging under load (going up hill, etc.). So, I want to retard the spark by moving the mark on the timing wheel closer to TDC. Right now the timing is set at 22 degrees BTDC @ 1000RPM. If I move it to 18 degrees or 15 degrees BTDC the pinging should go away, right? Confused in Bloomington, Will |
