Received a letter from a guy in Illinois that has a 1980 TR-8
Coupe for sale. The car is Automatic transmission, Inca Yellow,
needs an exhaust system, and some other work. The car has NOT been
registered and/or driven for the past two years. It was
taken off the road due to starter trouble. The owner indictes that
he has looked up the value of the car and athough it is suggested
as being worth between $4000 and $5000, he sates "I feel that is
too high and the price is negotiable."
So, here's a chance to pick up a piece of Triumph history, al beit
with an automatic gearbox.
