Have any of you installed the dashpad covers for MGBs? I just
got one from the folks at Moss and I was wondering of there are any
gotchas to be avoided during installation.

The main gotcha is that tape won't stick to the dashboard, so you
can't tape down the edges of the pad easily. Use weights to hold it
into place, and if necessary, tape the cap to other parts of the car
to get it to hold its shape while the glue sets. I couldn't resist
succumbing to a fancy, so I've used my brick from the Abingdon
factory and a copy of the complete works of Shakespeare to hold the
pad onto the dashboard.

This reminds me of something I'd been meaning to post for about a
year, since Andy first noticed it. As Dave Barry might say, I am
not making this up; only in my case, I'm really NOT making it up...

The Abingdon brick has three letters cast into one of the faces
that would be covered with mortar in the building.

The letters are LBC.
