Spit hood, welding, Maurice

        Has anyone ever tried to graft the hood bulge from a GT6 to
a spitfire hood?  How did you do it (where did you cut it) and how did 
it turn out?

        I am going to take a welding class at a local college.  Hopefully
I'll be able to pass some wisdom along to the list.  While at a local welding
shop, I saw welder the size of my '72 olds 98.  It had 'industrial grade'
written on the side.  Quite an understatement I'd say.
