Even if your Brit car isn't THAT old you might be surprised at the
number of Whitworth fasteners it has.  My snake is a '64 (actually
built in late '63) and most of the fasteners are SAE but more than a few
aren't, particularly in out of the way places and stuff not likely to be
taken apart very often.  For example, all of the brake line fittings and
the bolts holding the calipers together and to the wheels are SAE; but
the T-fittings where the lines split for the wheels are mounted to the
the frame with Whitworth bolts.  The mounting bolts for the master
cylinders are also Whitworth.  In addition, many of the suspensions
pieces are held together with Whitworth nuts and bolts.

If your car is all Whitworth, the the 6-piece open-end set Moss
sells probably isn't adequate, except perhaps to keep in your car
for emergencies; but for that odd Whitworth in your otherwise
SAE car, these are just about right, though I would recommended
getting a socket and maybe a second box-end for the more common
1/4W size.
