I don't have it here, but MBZ publishes a little pamphlet of "interesting facts" about the cars and their history. Mercedes was Jellinek's daughter, yes. But they didn't use her name because of an atomization technique -- they used it because that was one of the conditions under which Jellinek took delivery of approximately 100 cars to sell in France. Or so says the factory. |
