I hope you can get the jist of the columns. Cutting and pasting from MS word
into Quickmail doesn't cut it (but it looks fine on my screen right now).
On the surface, it looks as thought the roadster should blow away the miata,
but it is quicker off the line due to it's rear end ratio and sleeker
coefficient of drag (so said the article in DRA). I got the roadster facts from
the shop manual and the Rallye catalogue insert which has reprints of the old
original test articles. If I got the miata facts wrong, that's because I don't
know beans about them. If they're still around in 20 years, then maybe I'll
consider buying one. For now, long live vintage roadsters!
