Most likely the voltage regulator is unhappy. You can replace it, but when I had a similar problem, I found that the real culprit was a less- than-wonderful battery ground cable. So check all your major ground and positive connections. If anything looks even slightly suspect (any corrosion or green deposit, ANYWHERE) replace it! Don't forget to examing the straps that ground the driveline to the frame, either. Greg |
