Subject: Disk Pads

I feel its time to ask one of those naive questions which always generates
lots of interesting (and frequently contradictory) answers. Remember
thermostats? Its time to put new disk pads in the 1980 spitfire. What
are the pros and cons of semi-mettalic v. organic pads?
thanks in advance to all, adam
