I'm not sure what category this belongs to considering a female owned
this thing "77 MGB" before, I purchased it from someone who had it on
consignment. Who claimed they did most all of the work on it. So...

Anyways, the points that were in it came from an MGA not sure what type,
I suspect it was not a twin cam. Most everything under the hood that was
not needed to make the car run has been disconnected, window washer,
electric cooling fans, oil cooler if indeed it needed one, I get
conflicting answers on that. The cable for the heater valve has been
disconnected. The valve job that was done just before the puchase of the
car is now due for another one. Coat hangers were used to hold the exhaust
system in place. The radio needs the headlights on to turn it on. The
ignition switch has been replaced with a nonstandard type, but only
after they butchered the wiring harness to make it work. Also related to
wiring harnesses the engine bay wiring harness has also been butchered,
i suppose this was done when the engine swap was done. They fitted the
car with an 18GB-H with the correct distibutor, I'm not sure what the 45d4?
is like but it now has a 25d4? in it. The carpet was just layed in the car
as opposed to fiiting it the way it is supposed to be.

I have by the way solved most of these problems already, except of course
teh wiring problems. They don't appear to be a fire hazard yet, so when time
and money allows they will bw fixed also.
