>>Everyone:

Has anyone out there tried the fuel injector cleaner made by Red Line?
I've got a pamphlet on it and I'm curious to know if anyone has first-hand
knowledge of the stuff.

Yup, sure have tried it. The guy that works on my Audi
(but specializes in BMW, Porsche & Mercedes), on my
first time there said he always puts in some when he
tunes up the fuel injected cars. At $4/bottle, it's
cheap insurance if it works. I still uses it about
once/month & what I've noticed is that as the stuff is
going thru the system (I use the entire bottle/ ~14
gallon tank), the car seems to run a little rougher, as
if I could close my eyes & imagine the engine ingesting
all the accumulated gunk & burning it off. At about the
next tankful tho, the car seems peppier & smoother.
Could be psychological side effects however ..... :-/

     Now my questions-
How do you clean the fuel injectors if they're
out of the car ? Mine pop right out & I checked them
with high pressure air & the spray pattern is
definitely not uniform. And at $41/ apiece x 5, I'd
rather not go & replace them if I can avoid it.

Second Audi question- Who/where can I get higher
performance parts for das 5-cylinder engined car ?
Catalytic converter test pipe ;-), hotter chip, sway
     bars, ???? anything-

          cheers-
