Scott Fisher writes a good list of required tools for MGB owners. It looks
like a good general list to me. I will be looking for a rechargable
ratchet. I didn't realize that they had enough power to remove things like
exhaust nuts.
I would add one item. I used to teach chemistry and still have several
*cheap* lab coats. I can thing of several good reasons to use them:
1. The expected one - it keeps your clothes clean.
2. It keeps my wife happy (see #1 above You can wash it
with the shop rags to make a nice load. Add Goop or other
degreaser and they come clean without effecting anything else.)
3. It impresses the neighbors (Well those that know LBC's are
not taken in)
4. I don't race but I suppect that it is like putting on a
helmet. I put the coat on and I am ready to work.
5. My attitude changes to more professional. I don't tend to
just rip and tear, but think about what ever problem presents
it's self.
I would guess that they could be found at uniform stores. Sears probably
has more expensive ones.
