I think I pushed the Subject a bit this time to get the alliteration in. :)

>From Scott:

>at the front of a B?

The same socket is used for the front bearing nut and the front crankshaft
nut- 1 5/16. (hope I didn't remember wrong) There are usually 2 choices-
get a 3/4" socket set, or a 1/2 -> 3/4 adapter, and a 1 5/16, 3/4 drive
socket to use on your 1/2 wrachet.

And TeriAnn:

Yup- The AMGBA- American MGB Association. Here's a hopefully current address:
        P.O. Box 11041
        Chicago, IL 60611
They are listed in a few magazines. They do have a national meet- I believe
they were in Ithaca a couple years before I arrived. They have a fairly
thick newsmagazine. There is also the MG Car Club, with home chapter in
England, A national US centre, and MANY local chapters throughout the US.
I think there's a club listing in Rich's archive server with many of
the above and more listed. If not, I ought to get off my behind and
update the list I've got and post it. There are multitudes of MG and
Brit-car clubs in the Bay/Cal area.

And Others:
Spridget lower A-arms- Apple Hydralics lists them- They braze on new bushings
"Just like the original". They were somewhere from $50-100, or they will
rebuild yours. 1-800-882-7753

And ME:
Anyone got comments on a 74 Jensen-Healey Roadster? I checked one out
last night- It's frm California, and has seen a good bit of use in it's
85K miles. Sayes it had a "full" engine rebuild @ 70K, But, it's greasy,
and in need of good attention. It is on the road, but, it needs a bonnet
(The old fly up @ speed and wrap around trick :-( ), paint, a front
end/steering rebuild (Very sloppy), and a bunch of little stuff.

I do know: Vaxhaull derived Lotus Twin Cam 2 Litre engine, transmission,
suspension. Capable of 125 MPH (Not in this shape!). Produced from 72 (?)
to 77. Production? Parts cost? Market demand? The price isn't real good
but might come down. Or, if anyone out there desires one- speak up now.

Oh, yea- Jim, and others, Take note- I have an E-Mail address change:
The Gould computer I get my mail on is going away, and being replaced
by a SUN 4/280. Therefore, the mailing address is changing, too.
The new address is:
garnett@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu
or
garnett@theory.tn.cornell.edu
