Hate to say this, but yes indeed one must do a fair bit of dismantling to get the new Rotoflex on the car. Getting the old one off is much simpler, as it usually is quite cooperative in just falling apart. And the ONLY thing that moves in and out on the GT6 axle is the various parts of the Rotoflex. The splined joint to which you refer [I think, fig. 34, in group 4, page 311?] should not be moving. mjb. |
