What book are you refering to? The '64 Sprite Mk.II that I used to have
had a mechanical fuel pump. There is one thing you might want to check out.
There were TWO different 1098cc engines used in the Mk.II Sprite. One had
1 3/4" mains and the other (later) had 2" mains. It's possible that a
switch in fuel pumps took place at the same time. The block # for one will
be 10CG.... the # for the other will be 10CC.... I don't remember which is
which. Your reference book should be able to tell you.
