Rick Cole's annual Gold List (collector cars under $25,000 due for
great appreciation) commented on the following LBCs:
60-67 AH 3000 Currently $15-20,000, 5 year projection: $50,000+
53-67 TR 2/3/4 Currently $3-8,000, 5 year projection: $35,000
55-62 MGA Currently $5-8,000, 5 year projection: $35,000
65-68 Lotus Elan Currently $10-15,000, 5 year projection: $25-30,000
They also mentioned that the Lotus was one of the few British cars the
Japanese where collecting.
